Background
The LUCOEX project includes active engagement in training and education in addition to the engagement in dissemination of project results. This engagement is expressed in the form of scholarships, which cover travel, lodging and daily allowance to and from and during each event. The LUCOEX project will in total provide 20 scholarships made available to students, post-docs and engineers in European Union Member States and Switzerland during the course of the project.

Operating the KBS-3H Deposition Machine at the Äspö Hard Rock Laboratory
Topic: This scholarship concerns a two week training event at the Äspö HRL in Oskarshamn, where the selected applicant will take part in development and testing of the horizontal deposition machine.
Formal requirement on applicants:The scholarship is open for students or post-docs studying automation or control system technology. Specialisation in control system interface design is an advantage and experience in mechanical systems is preferable.
